Description: While driving in the foothills just west of Boulder, Colorado the morning after a snowstorm, I saw this scene developing. I jumped out of my Jeep, ran up a hill in deep snow, set up my tri-pod and got this shot on B&W infrared film using a Hasselblad camera. Another title to this piece could have been; "3 Shakes to Oblivion" (a shake is 1/millionth of a second) because of the close proximity to the now defunct Rocky Flats nuclear bomb plant. Sinister, I know...The film was hand developed, then scanned to digital. The framing was done by A&A Art of Denver, has a double mat, non-glare glass, and is ready to hang. It measures 28 x 28.
