description: While driving through the Ocala forest in north-central Florida, I crossed a bridge over this creek and, impressed, quickly pulled off of the road. The local people who were picnicking here told me about a "water-trail" off to the side of the main creek, which is where these images were taken. What I didn't realize until I got the film back, is that in this image, there is an alligator nest visible just past the angled palm tree to the left. Luckily, I never saw the alligator, and it didn't see me. Shot from the same position, but facing the other direction, is Juniper Creek-south. Shot with a Hasselblad camera on film and scanned to digital. Thin metal frame without mat. Ready to hang. Wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard box.
