This piece is one of my favorites! It is of a misty trail through the large trees of the Oregon Coast. If you look closely, you can see that it is an ocean view. The sea is on the horizon past the trees. But this is not just any trail. This painting is of an actual spot near Brookings, Oregon called Natural Bridges Cove. You may have been there! A few years ago while I was hiking here, I fell and broke my leg in three places half way down the trail. So this spot is memorable for me, not because of the accident, but because of it's stunning beauty. This painting has been purchased many times because the viewer feels like he can walk right into the painting on the path.
This is the Giclee print of an acrylic painting on canvas. The finest of archival inks have been used on top grade canvas in order to ensure this work will last years. If you would like an explanation of what a Giclee print is, I will be happy to email that to you. The colors range in greens from deep to light yellow-green. The pathway exhibits shadows in lavender hues with flowers in the bushes in purple and pink. I hand sign each print.
