Description: The rock formations near Prescott, Arizona are called %u201CGranite Dells%u201D. They seem as if they have been neatly piled one upon the other until there are huge mounds. Their colors and shadows change with the time of day. They are very unique and beautiful. It was my intent to capture the bright clear Arizona light illuminating these beautiful rocks. This is the only place in the world where the rocks look like this and nowhere else in the world does the light look and feel like it does in Arizona. I hope you enjoy the feeling of this painting as much as I do.
This is the Giclee print of an acrylic painting. The finest of archival inks have been used on top grade watercolor paper in order to ensure this work will last years. If you would like an explanation of what a Giclee print is, I will be happy to email that to you. The colors range from deep purples to light yellow-greens. I really enjoy using complimentary colors (those colors opposite each other on the color wheel) because they make a painting pop off the paper. I hand sign each print.
It will be shipped rolled in a tube. I will include instructions on how to care for your piece with the mailing. After you purchase, you will want to have it matted and framed behind glass. Any frame gallery will be able to do this. I know you will love it.
