I was stunned the first time I visited Zion Canyon in southern Utah! The lighting! The colors! The intimate feeling of being enfolded I received when I was inside the canyon. My immediate reaction was – I have to paint this! It’s very difficult to capture all the elements as they really are in a place of such beauty, so my intent was to capture the feeling. I hope, when you look at this painting, you can feel what I mean.
This is an original watercolor painting on paper. The colors include pinks and reds, dark greens and maroon. It is triple matted with hot pink, purple and tan behind glass, and framed with a beautiful dark cherry wood frame with braiding on it. It will be padded and shipped boxed, ready to hang the moment you receive it. I know you’ll enjoy it.
