This painting came about from a glass vase that was sitting on a glass table top, at a friend of my inlaws'. We were up there last Christmas, and I am always spotting thrilling images, indoors and outdoors. I am not a flower person for my subject choice usually, but this one I could not resist. All that glorious light and sparkle and reflection, as well as the backlit petals of the flowers. They are actually very good silk flowers I soon found out. But, I loved it anyway. The vase and the reflected and refracted light is what drew me to it originally
The painting is on professional grade Gotrick artist canvas, pre primed and stretched. The pigment is Liquitex and Golden artist acrylics. The painting arrives signed by me, front and back of canvas. The painting has it's unstapled edges painted in off white as well, and comes unframed. It can be hung as is flat against a wall, wired and hung or framed and hung.
