Description: "Boatworks" was taken at 6 AM in Monterey, California. The old building is a fixture here, and I tried to capture the feeling of many a boatyard just before the activity begins. Unique to this photo is the fact that the sun is in it, and closer inspection will reveal a seagull gliding near it. This is a soft and muted piece, and its horizontal length makes it great for over a sofa.
My photos are "old school" (perhaps because I'm an old guy?) and fall within the traditions of classic photography, which I've been doing now for over 50 years.
It is printed on 16 x 20 paper, with a 1 inch border, and delivered rolled in a tube. You may contact me to arrange for framing, if you prefer. Framing for an image of this size is $150 extra, and there is an additional fee for shipping framed photos.
The work is printed giclee ("zee-clay") which simply means ink-jet in this case: a professional Epson 3800, using archival K3 inks, so it ought to last a couple of hundred years.
My photos are taken with a 12 megapixel camera, assuring exquisite detail.
It is signed on the back (unless you request a signature on the front.)
