During a cruise to the Mediterranean we went to visit a beautiful village on the countryside of Rome, called Tuscania. We were walking down the narrow cobblestone streets and suddenly I looked up and saw this beautiful arched entrance way. As I walked by, I was stunned by this magnificent view of the Etruscan and Renaissance buildings surrounding the country side’s valleys. I felt like I was a part of a fairy tale, what an amazing experience! I’ve decided to capture this memory by imagining how Tuscania would look during springtime, with beautiful flowers everywhere. As I was painting this piece my heart was filled with joy and gratitude for being able to visit such a beautiful place.
