description: This watercolor painting is of a snow covered antique wagon seemingly abandoned after the fall harvest was brought in. A red cardinal keeps quiet watch over all from a well pruned fruit tree and the corn fields in the distance have just a few random scattered stalks that may be scouted out by forest wildlife searching for a meal. The wagon sits empty but as anyone can see, it will again receive it's bounty with the coming of the spring and fall season. The green stained weathered wood of the wagon is a bright contrast to the red painted wheels. A lightly traveled dirt path runs behind the wagon following the fence line, where the horses were pulling their wagons of fruits to the market. Painting will arrive matted and framed ready to hang. I really like this painting, and think you will enjoy it too. This painting is signed and dated by me the artist.
