Description: "Black Slip" is an encaustic (wax and pigment) on archival/acid free, 300 pound paper. The subject matter is a female model reclining in a black slip.
The coloration dominates in the yellow ocher and black pigment with accents of tonal violet. The image area exposed through the opening of the mat measures approximately 14" x 20" and the mat choice is sonora on the outside and Tuscan brown on the inside. The mat measurement is 3 1/2" on the top and sides with a bottom measurement of 3 1/2".
This Encaustic, Fine Art Original is double matted and backed, but is not framed. The framing options are limitless! Or you can change the matting if you would like.
