Description: "Oil Sienna Nude" is a small intimate oil sketch on archival paper.
The technique is referred to as a mono-print. There is only one print from the process and it is created on archival/acid free, print paper.
This is an original done in oil paint on a plate, but to get the paint sketch to the paper, the paper must be soaked in water to soften the paper and then is run through (by hand) an etching press. This process transfers the oil sketch from the plate to the paper. The result is wonderful and exciting.
This is a small nude resting on her legs in sienna tones. The image measures 4 3/4" x 4" and the mat choice is a soft tan.
The mat measures 4" top and sides, with a bottom mat of 4 1/4" the bottom mat should be larger for visual weight.
The overrall size of this matt is 13" x 12"
