Description: "Topiary" is a very loose encaustic (wax and pigment) on archival surface.
The subject matter is a daisy like topiary tree in a pot on a tonal gray/violet surface. The piece is matted, but not framed.
The overall size of the mat measures 22" x 15 1/2" and is a buff coloration and is built up off the surface of the piece. The mat measures 3 1/2" on the top and sides and 4" on the bottom. the bottom should be larger for visual weight.
