Description: "Love of Line" is a watercolor on acid free / archival hot press watercolor paper.
This paper has been hand dyed to a rich yellow ochre / raw Sienna coloration.
With the hand dyed process there will be a number of subtle variations in the paper and sometimes with the manipulation there can be heavy variations. This paper surface carries the subtle variations.
The nude female figure is created with watercolor brush strokes in brown tones. The figure is reclining with her back to the viewer.
The paper measures 10 3/4" x 17 3/4" and the figure is positioned slightly above the mid point. The figure measures 11" (that is from her hair to her toes, not including any of the bedding).
This piece is not matted or framed and leaves the collector numerous exciting possibilities for framing choices for all decors.
