Description: I just love this combination!
This necklace measures 18 3/4" around the neck and is composed of one of my favorites, but presented in a new way.
The Carnelian stone is one that I use often because of its color richness and color depth and it goes with all skin types.
In this necklace I am using a Brazilian Carnelian oblong or barrel shaped stone. These Carnelian stones are also etched leaving a frosted appearance on the majority of each stone and a gloss character or marking twice on each stone for a wonderfully unique look.
I coupled the Etched Carnelian oblongs with 4mm Red malachite (which is actually a Jasper), and 6mm Golden Jade (which is actually a Serpentine). The focal stone is a beautiful Asian carving in Serpentine that is a soft tan coloration and works fantastic with the other gems.
The Asian Serpentine carving measures approximately 2 1/8" in diameter and drops from the center of the necklace approximately 3", measuring from the top of the etched Carnelian above the Asian carving to it's base.
The closure is a smaller or dainty toggle in sterling silver.
Enjoy the beauty, balance and difference. Always, one of a kind originals.
