Description: Bridging the Gap. The inspiration for this piece is my father in laws love of trains. His hobby is doing the model railroad modules, which is truly an art form on its own. He is involved with The Western Reserve Model Railroad Museum and there they truly have a beautiful set up going.
This piece of artwork is put together with different pieces of what I like in scenery. I love fall colors one of my favorite times of the year. The train cars are taken from different trains, I wanted a train that I found pleasing to my eye. The bridge for the train is a train bridge in Vermont; I chose this bridge just because I loved it. I must say this one frustrated me a bit just because I had a certain vision and as always it just goes off on it’s own. This piece has inspired me to keep chugging along and to start my next piece. Enjoy.
This artwork is acrylic on stretched canvas. Ready to hang with painted sides and wired on back. The painted sides are the picture continuing around sides.
This piece could also be framed if you choose. This piece is signed by the artist in bottom right corner. The title, month, and year of completion is handwritten on the backside. The work has been coated with three coats of gloss varnish for protection.
