Description: "Glacier Warmth" is an oil on a stretched canvas that measures 28" x 22". The figure is handled in a loose, sketchy/wash manner in cool and warm tones on a warmer negative space.
I have also included paper, oil stick and stitching into this Fine Art piece. I wanted to capture the mood and the moment without the weightiness. The painting was probably effected by my recent trip to Alaska, hence the title.
The stretched canvas measures 28" x 22" and the frame is a wide 2 1/2" warm silver curved frame which has an edge that angle into the painted surface. The frame has the look of silver leaf with the black under-painting revealed.
The overall size of "Glacier Warmth" is approximately 32" x 26"
