The scene is very close to where my home is located. Same as " Reflection" and " Vacant Orchard" , this oil painting generates a certain calm that the frame helps to echo.
The frame definitely has an old Victorian quality to the scroll pattered stenciled wood surface. The frame is even distressed with it's gold and brown coloration. The front profile measures just shy of 2 1/2", creating lots of room around the painting.
"Quarry Way Appeal" will look wonderful on a table easel or is ready to hang by itself or in a grouping on your wall. The overall size of "Quarry Way Appeal" is 11 1/2" x 9 1/2". Consider hanging in a grouping with "Quarry Way " and "Quarry Approach" my last paintings created in 2007.
