Description: "Seated Ivy" is a gently rendered encaustic (wax and pigment) of a seated semi nude female.
The coloration is an overall caramel/golden hue that works its way from the negative space and becomes the form coloration to create the figure. The Fine Art piece is created on archival/acid free watercolor paper. The size of "Seated Ivy" through the opening in the mat is approximately 16" x 11" and the mat choice is a soft apricot linen mat.
The mat measurement is 3 1/2" top and sides with a bottom mat of 4". The bottom mat should always be larger for visual weight.
