Description: My husband and I had the great fortune to travel to Haiti and Mexico this Fall where I was able to sketch many harbor and bay scenes. This one is a bay at night with soft fog and a peaking moon. Fog and night scenes are fascinating to me because they transform any landscape into something Abstract! I am highly inlfuenced by Monet when I paint these reflected water images. This one is oil on stretched canvas. No frame.
