Description: This is the thrid painting in a series that started with "The Cellist". I used varying shades of gray, lavendar-gray, charcoal, soft turquoise, and spa blue. It is painted with a loose style.
As with the others in this series, I used the music of cellist Zoe Keating as my inspiration. The multiple layers and self over-dubs in her music are part of what I've tried to convey in this painting.
Materials: Acrylic paint on Gallery-wrapped canvas.
Dimensions: 36"H x 30"W x 1-1/2"D. I continued the painting around the sides, so no frame is needed. Wired and ready to hang.
