I passed this old store front every day for a year. They sold parachutes here. I knew I would someday I would create a painting of it. I'm very glad I did. I love thinking of all the people who walked up and down these now broken steps. The slate on top the only thing left that seems to say "I used to be valuable". I've never looked at this building the same way again since this painting. I can't help to think I'm the last person to appreciate it.
