Description: "Awakening" is a mixed media on archival acid free paper. This is definitely my coloration and love of the figure and showing hands.
This piece has been stamped, as I have referred to in other paintings and with my pottery. I generally use two stamps, either a small block or a small flower. The flower I created in the 70's by making a mold for my Mother to use in her jewelry line. Sometimes I use a chop, I refer to it as my "friendship tree", or a double fish, both of which I carved.

The image through the opening of the mat measures 18" x 13". and the overall framed size is 33 1/2" x 27 1/2". I generally have images in my files with the frame, but I do not and this is at a gallery. However, this is matted and framed. The frame is a wider warm silver subtle scoop.
