This is so Yummy! I love browns and I certainly love texture whether visual or tactile - just look at my paintings and you will see the tie together.
This unique necklace measures 18" around the neck and is a double strand of wonderful brown tones!
The necklace is composed of large ovals (measuring 5/8" x 1/2" each) and these are the Petrified Jasper and most of these stones come from Russia. The Petrified Jasper are a variety of whites, creme, tan,rust, and brown. Also utilized in this necklace are espresso colored delicas, faceted Indian Coco Jasper, Mexican Titonie, Tiger Iron, a larger accent of ribbed copper and Dumortiente.
The closure is a copper toggle and the focal feature is a large wooden carving and it is carved on both sides.
The carving is lighter in weight but beautifully done and measures 2 1/8" in diameter. Some refer to it as a butterfly carving, I am not positive.
The focal feature drops from the center of the necklace approximately 2 3/4" measuring from the top of the copper ribbed accent to the base of the wooden carving.
And going along for the ride are matching earrings that drop approximately 1 1/2" from the base of the copper earwire. Each earring is composed of a 10mm copper ribbed accent and an oval of Russian Petrified Jasper and a small copper round.
