ABOUT THIS PIECE:
This awesome watercolor by Miriam Schulman depicts sunflowers in a somewhat abstract manner. This piece would fit into both modern and traditional decorating styles. The watercolor is painted on a very heavy 300 pound watercolor paper. The edges have been taped so there is a border of plain paper all the way around the artwork (see detail) and the edges are deckled all the way around. The painting may be framed either with a traditional mat on top or floated on top of a mat to show off the raw edges. The background is full of gorgeous abstract details with dark blues and golds. The foreground shows off the light filtering through the leaves, petals, stems and water vase. It is a stunning piece.
