description: I was trying to create an interesting tension about the horse running to the end of a long box. The visual balancing act between the horse at the end and the long box behind him is beautiful to me. The sculpture is made out of wood and mixed media (Copper wire armature, burlap, canvas, wire, and hemp twine). The piece is fixed with a mixture of woodglue and dye. Then it is sealed with urethane. It will be shipped in the same custom-made crates that I build for shipping them to Nationally Juried Exhibits.
