Description: The interaction of two horses jumping or flying inside a confined space creates a lot of interesting interactive negative spaces compositions. I like to imagine them swirling around in there like a couple of birds playing in the wind. My work is made out of wood and mixed media (copper wire armature, burlap, canvas, wire and hemp twine). They are fixed with a mixture of woodglue and dye, sealed with urethane, then shipped in the same custom-made crates I use to ship them to Nationally Juried Exhibits.
