description: I am interested in the space between.The space between making a decision and after you've made it. Maybe it's the moment of anticipation. With my work it's fun to make things that are about to do something, or are caught in the moment of doing it. The horse's mythical and practical relationship with Man throughout history make them an interesting subject for exploring these situations. My work is made out of wood and mixed media (copper wire armature, burlap, canvas, wire, Japanese rice paper, and hemp twine). It is fixed with a mixture of woodglue and dye, then sealed with urethane. It will be shipped in the same custom-made crates that I use to ship my work to Nationally Juried Exhibits
