Description: Since ancient artisans first unlocked the secrets of smelting copper, humans have
expressed their artistic impulse in this most versatile metal. Artist Woody Woodill adds a new chapter to this venerable tradition with his amazingly colored abstracts. The abstracts are a combination of natural patinas and applied acrylics. Hues of gold, orange, red, brown, blue and green combine in an organic synthesis. Transparent acrylics are used as accents in contrast to the natural patinas. They reflect light with a stained glass effect.
The total dimensions of the piece are 23"x23".
