The very center of this print depicts Christ on His knees as an angered crowd beats and punches Him. Unbeknownst to the angry mob is a legion of angels, surrounding them, ready to destroy all of mankind. God reaches down, holding the moment in His hands. Christ's blood, the only color in the painting, runs through the hands and drips back to earth. With an arm stretched towards heaven, Jesus shows His love for us by holding back the angels from moving in. It was because of His love that He did this for you and me. The artwork is unframed and will arrive packaged in a flat cardboard boxlike structure. The print is on a very thick, heavy, high gloss paper. There is approximately 1" of white from the art to the edge of the paper. Each one is inspected before packaging, and should arrive in top notch condition. To display the artwork, it is highly recommended that it be professionally framed as soon as possible. The recommended frame should be a deep, dark, reddish brown wood frame, but the purchaser may use his or her own judgment concerning this. The white around the print makes it to where a matt is unnecessary, but not discouraged. The painting was inspired by a sermon the artist heard years ago, and he has spent 8 years creating it. The labor and hours spent in research, canvases, painting, repainting, prayer and recreating, are unknown.
