description: Coyote In Snow is an award winning image in my Wildlife Series of photographs. I spotted this coyote out hunting while visiting Teton National Park in March of 2005. He was walking away from me when he stopped and took one last look at me before disappearing over a ridge and into a thicket. I managed to squeeze off just a few frames and this one was the winner. I love how the falling snow is rendered. The flakes falling closer to the camera are soft and lend sort of an ethereal feeling to the image. The moose willows and forest in the background add a splash of color. There is detail even in the whitest areas of snow on the ground. The coyote's fur is sharp and detailed and his gaze is penetrating.
This image is printed by me here at my studio. It is an open edition. I use Hahnemuhle Photo Satin Rag fine art paper for it's pleasing color palette and wonderful subtle texture which enhances the textures existing within the actual image itself. I print with Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks for rich vibrant colors and a lifetime of enjoyment out of each image I produce.
Prints are shipped rolled up in a cardboard mailing tube ready for framing. A generous white border allows for various framing and matting options. The prints are made on 17" x 22" paper stock.
As with all my work a personal note from me accompanies each image and it will be signed in pencil on the back of the print.
