This is a painting of a walk I took recently at the Fairhope public beach. It was after a rain and the bright blue sky was reflected in the dark bay water. There was lots of jetsam on the beach and one little sand piper who kept pace with me never letting me get any closer or any farther away. This painting is a companion piece with "Soft Breeze and Old Glory". The upper left corner of "Sand Piper" connects with the lower right corner of "Old Glory".
