Description: I must be lucky to walk on this trail everyday and so should be those who love nature.
I tried to capture this picturesque scene in my mind while I was out brisk walking on a trail (No cameras, No on the sight painting). Then, when I started painting it, I connected different ideas based on what I saw fit.
The technique I used was initially wet on dry. After my background was dry enough, I went back and added more details to it like trees, fences, and the curved path. At this stage, I also took advantage of the wet on wet to make some parts blend.
This is a watercolor on rough surface Arches paper (140 Lb) with no frame. I always leave framing to my customer since everyone has a different taste. Just don't forget matting. Once matted and framed, the beauty of the piece would double.
