The category is "Mixed Media" -- The work begins as a drawing meditation (black stabilo pencil on mylar film and water in a brush to move the marks). It is then scanned into the Photoshop Computer Program where it is modified and enhanced digitally: motifs are shifted, composition is altered and color is added. The image is transfered to canvas; glazes and varnish enrich the final work. This piece is signed, matted and gallery-wrapped on stretchers: 20x20x1.50" --ready to hang without a frame if so desired.
