CONEY ISLAND
Pedaling, bicycle built for two,
down Coney Island Avenue.
Andy and Sue
Blind date, Sue had no clue.
Nathan, chili cheese dog: snafu.
Sue only eats tofu.
Spending money was Andy's taboo.
Said Sweet Sue,
"Let's check out the view."
Wonder Wheel, neon pink, sea blue,
twelve stories high, seagulls flew.
Andy was too shy to kiss Sweet Sue.
Andy suggested photos for two,
fitting in a photo booth like a tight shoe.
Sweet Sue pressed against him like glue,
Sweet Sue wanted a Mountain Dew.
Out of his wallet a coupon Andy drew.
She thought, what's his issue.
Madame Cleo tells the future for you.
She told Andy his fortune expecting revenue,
Now give me my due!"
Andy stated, I didn't ask you,
you grabbed my hand, told me what you knew,
I'm not going to pay you.
"I curse you, I do voodoo,
your legs will break in two,
Pooh! Pooh! Pooh!"
"Sweet lady, I don't want to argue,
that man needs a good talkin' to.
And don't ever take his I.O.U's.
Cheap Andy afraid, the date he blew,
listed his assets to impress Sweet Sue.
He is an heir destined to be well to do.
"Poor Andy" thought Sweet Sue
