This is definitely one of those paintings where it started out entirely different. I actually painted this piece with the intention of it being a vertical painting based on the sun hitting the side of a tree. It just wasn't working out, once I turned it horizontally I saw it as a reflections on water. (A theme I had been painting) "That's it!"
