Description: This painting was the first in the Devoid series. I created this series to try and make people concious of the type of life some children around the world are living. On the exterior, they almost look like any other child, but on the inside they are empty. Empty because they are either neglected or come from abusive homes. What's sad, is that they were born full of hopes, dreams, ambition, but at some point, they just gave up.
It's a very touching series.
These paintings have been featured in a exhibit in Montreal's old port at the INVIVO art Gallery. And at MonkDogz Urban Art Gallery NewYorkCity.
