description:
“Awesome!”
That is how I reacted to a bird’s eye view of America from the Concorde at 60,000 feet above it all. Returning to Chicagoland after six weeks in Europe I decided just how much I truly missed the good old USA.
I thrilled at the spacious skies…the purple mountains…the fruited plains…the amber waves of grain. It is the ever-changing landscape of city and farms, highways and city streets, rivers and lakes, mountains and deserts that makes a fascinating grid of color and line. That fascination inspired “Megalopolis”
This wall hanging is created in cotton fabric and quilted on a sewing machine. It will arrive boxed or rolled and placed into a tube. The reverse will have a two inch sleeve through which a dowel is inserted. Specific instructions on the way to hang (and the care of) will be included in the package. A custom gift box may be included if requested.
