Description: The Alvord Desert is a sacred landscape in southeastern Oregon. I go to this area to renew the sense of wildness within myself. This entire area includes the Malheur Bird Refuge and the Steens Mountains. Everyday life can drain away our life force, our substance. The Alvord is where I go to refill the well of my life force and restock the pond of my own creativity.
