Large, gestural oil painting on stretched canvas. Signed, lower right. This is one of my first paintings, painted in 1999. I was just getting started and it's full of freedom. A bambucha is the large marble that one uses to knock smaller marbles out of the ring. This painting can also be read as cosmic. Astronomy, astrology, the zodiac and horoscopes come to mind. A blue black hole, maybe. I still remember painting this one. It was fun. I kept swirling the blues, greens, and whites until it felt done.
