This piece looks three dimensional. At a recent show, I had the pleasure of watching visitors come up and look at the painting from the side to verify whether or not it is three dimensional. The piece is actually completely flat having no texture other than that of the canvas beneath the paint. Black border surrounding yellow, red, blue, green, orange and brown, edged in a silver tone wave line. A very fun and unique piece!
The canvas was primed with an acid-free primer. It is 3/4 inch deep. Gallery wrapped and painted on the side, no need for a frame.
This piece is signed and dated by the artist. The title of the piece is clearly written on the back of the canvas over the top stretcher bar.
