Vivid colors and dynamic movement. This piece incorporates some matte areas (black), some high gloss areas (blue and violet sides, center "S" shape) and some semi gloss (yellow and orange "V" shapes).
This piece contemplates the dance of "going with the flow" in life while maintaining one's own identity.
The yellow and orange shapes are heavily textured which enhances color application in the areas. The blue and violet sides are thickly painted in a flowing manner and have some texture.
The piece is painted on 3/4 inch deep canvas which was primed with an acid free primer and stretched in a tuck and roll manner. The sides are staple free and painted so the piece is ready to hang without a frame.
