Description: This painting has many layers of oil paint, solvent, and gold leaf. I applied the paint, and removed it repeatedly, to achieve depth and perspective. This painting will be shipped unframed, wired for hanging. The painting is on stretched canvas (2 ½ inch thick stretcher bars). Custom frame available, please inquire. This work by inspired by memories of the golden sun reflecting on San Francisco Bay. I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area most of my life and much of my work finds reference in my memories there.
