Description: This is one of a series of metallic paintings. The work consists of layers of gold oil paint, and incorporate bits of paper and cloth – I love combining collage with painting. There is an undercoat of black gesso – hence the title: “Black Gold. This painting will be shipped unframed, wired for hanging. The painting is on stretched canvas (2 ½ inch thick stretcher bars).
