About This Series
The Labor of Love Series started many years ago. I have always enjoyed experimenting with color and the contrast that only a clean black frame can give. These pieces are extremely labor intensive taking me up to 5 times the hours it takes me to do the equivalent in a simple abstract. But they are my first love and it is very exciting to me to see a painting come to life as I finish the black framing. My large vibrant abstracts have done very well online and I feel blessed to get to paint for a career. The price is very low when the labor is considered.
