description: I was inspired by a painting I saw in the Museum of Modern Art when I lived in New York City many years ago. It was entitled "Hide and Seek" by a Russian artist, Pavel Tcheletchew. I was also inspired by Maxwell Parish, a 20th century romantic artist. If you look closely, you will find children's faces hidden in the trees and rocks, hence the name "Hide and Seek". It is painted on museum-wrapped canvas. The 1-1/4" sides are painted as well, eliminating the need for a frame. It is signed and is ready for hanging.
