Description: I saw this abandoned barn along the highway in south Arkansas; a sign on it said: Farm for Sale. It seemed to typify what is happening to small farms in the country -- they are being gobbled up by the large farming industry. I painted this to show the feeling of desolation and abandonment, but it is still a beautiful picture. It is framed, matted, and glazed; ready for hanging.
