SIDES: 1.5” deep – The sides are primed white to contrast with the surface image, so no frame is necessary. The painting is ready to hang.
DESCRIPTION: This painting consists of warm, layered colors. The top layers of the buildings were added using a dry brush technique to reveal traces of the colors beneath to give this painting the look of older, "lived-in" places. My thought in creating this piece was of a town that is old and worn by weather and time, but cozy and well-loved.
Artist initials are along the bottom side of the bottom-left panel, signature on the back of the same.
Clear varnish has been applied to protect from dust and fading.
