Painting is always an adventure and part of the fun and excitement is in letting the painting take you where “it” wants to go. Often my best work results from a painting that was not going well and in a final attempt to make things work I throw all caution to the wind and pile on the paint with palette knife and my fingers. This was painted from memory and is representative of the many fields I see in my native East Tennessee. I was very pleased with the movement, textures and color. I hope you will be too!
This painting is an original oil on panel and measures 11x14.
The painting is signed and has been sealed with a final protective varnish with UV inhibitors. Painting is being sold unframed. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
