Description: A journey to French Polynesia and the Marquesas. Tropical rain forests where the tradewinds excite the imagination, where the colors are bold and the flora and fauna exotic. This painting came out of my memories, my love of the islands, my great respect for the painter Paul Gauguin and his way with color and the place he is buried. This art is part of my Lucid Landscape series created solely because I love working with color, shapes and line. This watermedia on 100% cotton rag paper was painted in many layers. It will be shipped in a tube, unframed. It needs to be matted and framed under glass or plexiglass.
