I have retained the basic elements of my figurative style in this series: flat planes of color, neutral figures, and sharp contrast, and have added interesting elements to the figure. Two-tone block shading of the flesh creates a sense of depth and contour. The subtle shades of pink lips add color and life to my previously neutral palette. These pieces are bold and modern, yet classic.
